Fully Glazed Partition with Excellent Sound Reduction
Today the use of natural light to create the best possible working conditions is still top priority when it comes to interior design. But it is not only light, which provides positive working conditions. According to studies, minimising noise is also a vital factor, both for job satisfaction and, ultimately, for the company’s bottom line.
The DEKO FG2 fully glazed partition has the same characteristics as the DEKO FG fully glazed partition – the same minimalist design, look and flexibility – but the 2 layers of glass mean that the partition provides a much higher level of sound reduction.
With no visible transitions, DEKO FG2 can easily be combined with our other glazed and solid partitions. That makes it possible to create exactly the layout that users desire, whatever their design and sound reduction requirements.
A thoroughly tested concept
The concept behind the DEKO FG2 glazed partition is the same as that of DEKO FG with minimally designed aluminium profiles against the floor, ceiling and adjoining walls. The vertical joints between the glazed elements can be made using 3-mm prefabricated silicone strips or 20-mm aluminium profiles.
Depending on the desired design or the rest of the design, the glazed partition can be installed using 30- or 40-mm narrow aluminium profiles.
DEKO FG2 glazed partitions are also available in full height. Depending on the desired sound reduction and the height of the partition, the standard glazed partition comes in 10- or 12-mm toughened clear glass, but it can be made using other types of glass to accommodate specific requirements.
In the standard version DEKO FG2 provides sound reduction of up to Rw 48 dB.
Just like our other partitions, the glazed partition is prefabricated, systematised and standardised. It can also be dismantled and changed should new needs arise.
The standard aluminium profiles are natural anodised or white, but they can also be powder coated in any colour of the user’s choice
Several different sound rated doors
To complete the minimalist look with glass as the principal element, while still maintaining a high level of sound reduction, the DG glazed door can be integrated with glass on the entire surface of the door. Alternatives are our other DEKO solid or glass framed doors, which provide an attractive contrast.
Whatever the choice of door, the door leaf is fitted into our aluminium frame to achieve the greatest stability and highest level of sound reduction.
The final touch
The large, clear glass surfaces give free access to natural light, but the glass surfaces can also be decorated with laminating film in various patterns and colours to provide that final designer touch.
